Following feedback from schools and LEA's during development of the Parago system we have now completed our Parago Agent link for schools. This system is a collection of utilities that allow one-time or continuous capture of current infrastructure [1]. It can be run from any type of media with at least 5MB of free space (CD, USB Flash Drive, etc). Features include...
* Accurate detection of core hardware components (CPU, memory, storage devices) with peripheral
detection capabilities being continually expanded
* Detection of installed software
* Direct or batched [2] upload
* Full proxy support
* Three modes of operation:
- Manual
- Installed, ParagoAgent will run once a day [3]
- Network-deployed, ParagoAgent will run whenever a user logs in but no more than once every day [3]
* Data is only uploaded if the configuration has changed since the last execution

[2] Read/Write media required (e.g. USB Flash Drive)
