IT Vision is pleased to announce that an update to the Parago system has been completed successfully. This new version includes a number of improvements, some planned and some in response to user feedback. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the changes to ensure that you get maximum benefit from your Parago account.
Key improvements are...
Reporting
- Completely rewritten to allow flexibility in the type and style of reports
- Limited selection of reports currently available
- Please join in the discussion on the forum aimed at determining the types of reports that are needed
- Reports created using the old system are incompatible with this new system. If you need any of the reports you may have had in the old system please let us know and we will be happy to send them to you.
Interface
- ParagoAgent placement list allows filtering by machine name, IP address and network name
- Adding items and the editing of asset details has been streamlined using a spreadsheet-style editor
- Main menu now shows the status or ParagoAgent and report queues
- More items added to the hardware and software list, including more general office equipment
- Wizards temporarily disabled pending revision
Preferences
- Account email address can now be changed
- Item grouping can be turned on or off
- Alerts can be filtered to ignore software and/or IP address changes, more filters can be added on request
Account Manager
- Read-only access to accounts
- Search across multiple accounts
- Report across multiple accounts
