The Parago development team have just released to the beta site a new update to the Parago system. As with previous updates, this does not require any user action and fixes a number of issues as well as introducing a new feature that will improve your ability to record and manage your assets effectively. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the changes to ensure that you get maximum benefit from your Parago subscription.

In addition to minor bug fixes and cosmetic changes, the main improvement is a change to the interface used to manually add assets to your Parago Account. This has been improved to categorise the asset types making them easier to find. In addition to the categorisation, a search facility and a list of recent assets that can be placed to the current location have been added.

Several additional asset types have been added to Parago :

Toaster
Water Boiler
Sandwich Maker
Meat Slicer
Floor Polisher
Angle Grinder
Chop Saw
Drill Press
Safety Transformer
Battery Charger

And three new rooms:

Cleaner's Room
Kitchen
Workshop

This update is due to be released onto the main Parago site at the end of the month.

Any feedback about the new add asset interface will be appreciated, in particular whether you have any issues in using the interface and if you believe that there are any errors in, or improvements that can be made to, the organisation of assets into their categories.

Please be aware that you should NOT deploy the ParagoAgent from the Beta to your infrastructure.
