Admin Computers in Cheshire

Post by Ben »

When Parago is loaded onto the majority of our office based computers (Admin / Head teacher machines), they seem to work fine until they are rebooted, once they have been rebooted they will not load up, to get the machine work again we are doing the following:

Safe mode -> admin tools -> Services -> stop parago agent startup from auto - disabled, and then unistalling the client.

I believe that my collegue Linda Knight has pointed this out, I have opened this post to keep us up to date

Thanks Ben

We are currently building a testing machine utilising the custom build documentation provided by Cheshire Central IT in order to investigate the issue.

We are aware of this issue is being looked into, when we have time we will also look into the admin machine in the office, and see if anything we can notice that is causing the problem

Yes, the issue with ParagoAgent causing a lockup during boot on a small number of installations of windows 2000 has been resolved and there are no significant known issues with the current version (version 2.6 / release March 1st, 2007).
